I realized over the weekend that Tim S. Milner emailed our church about it, but I never gave update.
His name is Buddy and he’s so sweet. And yes, one of the other dog’s names was Buddy. Don’t judge, grieving kids named him. 😋❤️

We have some sad news about our new puppy. Tuesd

We have some sad news about our new puppy.
Tuesday morning, he became very sick and the vet from A New Leash on Life came to our house and evaluated him, and he tested positive for Parvo virus. She took him home with her, and she was so great to take care of him and give him fluids, syringe feed him and give him all the meds and antibiotics he needed. She mentioned someone has been up with him every few hours through the night, and we feel so thankful for all the care they have given him.
Unfortunately, this morning she let us know that he didn’t make it.
We are sad and he will always hold a special place in our hearts, even though we only had him at our house for less than two days.
We’re also doing good and the kids took the news really well.
Tim S. Milner mentioned to one of our kids this morning that the greatest blessing Oliver gave us was that he opened my heart enough to say yes to having a dog. He will always be remembered as our first dog that we fell in love with immediately, and he will always hold that special place in our hearts. ❤️
