Life-Changing Podcasts for Christian Women

I’m not a fan of doing laundry, dishes or any other type of cleaning. However, with three kids, all those things are never ending and essential at our house. Folding laundry is much more enjoyable when I’m listening to a great podcast.

Grit N Grace Girls

The thing I love about a podcasts is how easy they are to listen to. You can listen while cleaning, exercising, or sitting in carline. They also have such great insight and wisdom we can add to our lives after we listen.

I’m often asked what podcasts I listen to. Below are a list of my favorites, along with my favorite episode from each one.

I hope you enjoy, and would love to know some of your favorites as well!

Awesome podcast that has at least one huge “aha” moment each episode. Makes me feel better to know I’m not the only one who struggles with the issues they talk about. Each topic is handled with both grit and grace, as the title suggests. Highly recommended.”

By Faith

In whatever we’re doing—working, parenting, serving, suffering—it can be difficult sometimes to see through the fog of the circumstances of life and to know with confidence that God is there, that He’s working in us, and that He’s working through us. How do we live this life by faith? In “By Faith,” author and blogger Christine Hoover asks this big picture question by getting into the details and daily lives of her guests: men and women who are walking forward by faith.

The Purpose Show

Mom life: we’re surrounded with the message that it’s the tired life, the no-time-for-myself life, the HARD life. And while it is hard and full of lots of servitude, the idea that motherhood means a joy-less life is something I’m passionate about putting a stop to. I’m on a mission to help you stop counting down the minutes till bedtime (at least most days). I want you to stop cleaning up after your kids’ childhood, and start being present for it – start enjoying it. I believe in John 10:10, that we are called to abundant life, and I know mothers are NOT excluded from that promise. Join me in conversations about simplicity, minimalism, and lots of other good stuff that leads to a life of less for the sake of enjoying more in motherhood. I’m Allie Casazza, and this is The Purpose Show.

Heroes for Her

Erin Weidemann is here to put the “her” in hero! It is her passion to help parents raise confident, capable daughters who are excited to live out their purpose. In today’s world, the girls who are the loudest are the ones who get noticed. Join us as we inspire you each week by interviewing real women, positive role models who are making a different kind of noise. Erin is the CEO and Co-Founder of Bible Belles and the author of “The Adventures of Rooney Cruz” a series for girls to help them discover what it means to be truly beautiful through the female heroes of the Bible.

  1. After reading this title I thought I would see my three fav shows for sure
    Risen Motherhood
    Don’t Mom Alone
    Sally Clarkson
Looking forward to checking out your suggestions!!

  2. I do not listen to podcasts but I hear so many great things about them. Plus more and more I am hearing people talk about what they heard from a podcast, compared to a talk radio station. I guess I am way behind….lol. Thank you for the list, I think it is time to check some out!
